How To Get A Bikini Body And Abs
You’re going to get fitter and healthier by joining an MMA gym for Kickboxing, Boxing, Muay Thai, or Judo.
Want our top twelve pieces of equipment that you can use to get the bikini body and abs for that next beach outing?
For those of you who don’t know TTF, we’re health and fitness ambassadors for multiple combat sports athlete brands and we are mixed martial arts enthusiasts.
We train in a lot of things, too many to mention, just check out our other articles if you want to know more.
We’ll go over with you guys some gear that you’ll want to get for training, that’ll be up to you if you do or not in the end it’s your choice. First and foremost don’t forget your gym bag!
Let’s just briefly introduce a couple of the gear that you’re gonna be using for your day-to-day training like (1) boxing gloves and another kind of glove which we’ll touch on a little later. It’s not exactly a requirement that you need both, we just like gear a lot, so it’s something we like to inform women about for their safety.
Another training piece of gear is a stick and we’ll go over that later too, and we’ll let you know how to use it.
How To Start Your Workout
Usually, when you start your workout, some people think that you should begin with a warm-up but nowadays what’s being taught is that you’re supposed to begin and start with activation.
That’s why you should always have your (2) resistance bands in your gym bag. They will range from light to medium, and heavy.
So start your workout by doing some activation exercises with your resistance bands just to wake up your muscles.
The Hand Wraps
One of the most basic pieces of equipment that you need when you get into an MMA gym or you’re gonna start your own boxing or kickboxing classes is the (3) hand wraps.
We like to have more than just one pair of hand wraps just because if you go to the gym every day, you’re gonna have to wash it after each session. You do want to let it dry properly.
We always highly recommend to people to get elastic types of hand wraps (be careful of cheaper priced elastic hand wraps, most likely they’re NOT elastic.)
There’re a lot of different colors you can choose from, we like being very pizzaz with the colors we choose!
Once you start to know how to hand wrap on your own, you’re gonna be a pro at it, and you won’t ever need to have your coach and your trainer to have to help you.
Now you’ll want to get some shadowboxing on for your warm-up! Build your foundation of form before power. Now get your boxing gloves on and hit the bag. When your technique is down pat, you can go all out.
Okay, the gloves we mentioned earlier are the (4) MMA gloves. Now, when you get inside the octagon at your gym, you should feel empowered when you’re inside it. It is a powerful confidence booster.
When you do your workout, you might want to listen to something to motivate you, and usually, when you’re in the octagon, it’s okay to use your (5) portable devices like some JBL speakers that come with a clip. They’re great and we love them because you can clip them almost anywhere and their good to have with your workout.
Workout Cool Down Equipment
Once you’ve finished your workout, you always gotta have your (6) Ice Towel because you don’t want to be sweating all over the gym.
And the most important thing for your body is to rehydrate. Of course, you’ll want an insulated water bottle and we like the (7) Corkcicle Canteen because of its triple-insulated technology. A thing to have about the Corkcicle is that it keeps cold for twenty-five hours and hot for 12 hours.
If you’re in the Philippines as many of our readers are, it’s hot there and this makes it still nice and refreshing.
Now we’d off to cool down with the other products that we like to use for any type of training and exercise that we’d train in. Okay, it’s time for your cool-down stretch.
And one thing we forgot to mention about our towel and the reason that we like it is that there’s technology in it because it’s not an ordinary towel. The fact that it’s called an ice towel should tell you something!
It’s called an Ice Towel because when you wet it and slapped it around a couple of times, it then becomes cool to the touch, so it’s good about that. It cools you down and it’s activated when it gets wet. It also has the UPF 45, protection guard.
This towel is great especially if you play outdoor sports or something. It also has a convenient clip to hang on the side of your gym bag for easy access.
Equipment For Stretch Cool Down
Now we’re gonna do our stretch cool down.
We usually have an (8) Muscle Roller stick since we were doing all kinds of kicks and stuff. When using it you want to get into kneading out the muscle fibers. There’re lots of ways you can do this.
Okay next is to pull out from inside our gym bag our (9) A-Game Sport Magnesium Spray. This’s a really important part of our routine because it’s going to help with your recovery all over your body. There’re two variants of this A-Game, “pain relief” & “muscle recovery”, and each contains magnesium which is absorbed by your body.
The reason why we like using A-Game is that it has magnesium in it and it’s an after-sport muscle recovery solution that can help you, so that tomorrow, the next day you’re good to go for your next training session.
Okay, remember the Muscle Roller stick, well there’s also a (10) Pain Release Roller Muscle Ball or “Power Rollers” that goes hand in hand with it. Especially because it’s kind of hard to massage your arms using the stick like the elbow and forearm areas and shoulder traps.
The last thing in our arsenal is something for recovery is our (11) Stretch Strap or Yoga Rope which is important and it’s for stretching.
We’re gonna show you guys how to use it, especially if you’re just starting, working out, and exercising. If you’re not that flexible because you’re not used to stretching, this helps. Using this to do static stretching is important for preventing injuries in the future.
We use it as an assistance to guide you into doing deeper stretches so you can also use this for yoga. There’re a lot of different loops in it. You’re able to put your foot through it for any stretch that you can do.
Because a flexible muscle is a healthy muscle. There’re lots of things you can do with this.
So, that’s it for our gear. It’s time to pack up and go. Thank you so much everyone for reading. it was a pleasure showing everybody our MMA gym must-haves.

You always gotta have a lot of stuff to do with getting fit and becoming healthier, and one last thing we almost forgot, you gotta have food right after your workout. Eat (12) recovery snacks to refuel. You can try the Vegan Only Bananas, not baked not fried Dehydrated Saging and Saba.
