Muay Thai Frontal Kick – Knee – Elbow
This combination of Muay Thai – MMA utilizes various techniques and improves kicks, knees and elbows, and the overall ability to measure and maintain distance from the opponent.
The combination begins with the front kick (in Thailand, known as “teep”). It can be used to create space against a particularly aggressive opponent.
A frontal kick at the right time can throw the opponent back, or even knock him down. If the opponent is still advancing, the second blow of this combination, a straight knee, is given with maximum force, using the back leg.
Practice taking the knee without lowering your hands and sacrificing the guard, because the knee is often counter-attacked with punches. The knee possibly creates an opening for the last blow, the elbow.
